Favorite Kitesurfing Spot / Trip?
My favorite trip abroad has been to Holland where I rode along the whole coastline over 2 days. I was in the country for a week and managed to go kitesurfing every day, and met very nice local kitesurfers.

What was your worst ever Kitemare?
Before I started kitesurfing, I rode a mountainboard on the beach with a kite. The thing about mountainboarding is that the beach tends to hurt a lot more than water when you crash. The day of the accident, I discovered what is meant by a 'death run'. It happens when you have too much speed and power to slow down. This is what happened: I couldn't stop, and brought the kite about my head (this would normally slow you). I was lifted off the ground (while traveling at speed), I spun around and started traveling backwards and landed head first (without a helmet) in the sand. My body went numb and I passed out for a short time. Fortunately I was only stunned.
